AIM Mychron 5 Battery Block Off Plate

AIM is the most widely used data acquisition system used in karting in the US. Their Mychron 5 dash is most commonly used with a removable battery pack screwed to the back side of the dash. The issue is those batteries are pricey and are prone to going dead at the worst possible time, making your dash go black in the middle of a race and losing your precious data. That's why many people run an external battery (or piggy-back from their onboard starter battery) to power their Mychron 5. When using an external power source you no longer need the AIM battery pack. So what do you do to plug the hole where the battery pack? You use our Battery Block Off Plate.
